Crestway Animal Hospital - Staff Bios

I’m Jackie. I began my career as part of a veterinary support staff in New Braunfels in August of 1983. I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Nichols since August, 2005. I’ve been married to Paul, a PhD Speech Pathologist, for 38 years. We have two amazing sons, Shawn and Colin and 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 1 year to 19 years. I have had numerous animal companions over the years and, at this time, we have 4 cats, Scuba Steve, Ava Gardner, Hazy and Flurry, who let us live in their home.

I’m Patricia. I grew up in Buffalo, New York. I proudly served our country in the Air Force, working in the dental field. I started helping animals in 1992 by working in shelters and found it to be very rewarding. I’ve been a Veterinary Assistant at Crestway Animal Clinic for many years. I have 1 dog and six cats, some with special needs. Caring for animals is very important to me and I wish to continue doing so for as long as I can.

I’m Catherine. I began working as a Veterinary Assistant not long after Dr. Nichols began practice at Crestway Animal Clinic. After a 4 year military move to Alaska and Colorado, I’m back! I have two beautiful children, two dogs and a cat. I believe in God, family and loving what I do as a career.

I’m Nancy. I was born on an Army post and raised here and there; but, mostly in San Antonio. I’ve been married to Larry for 37 years. I was a Nursing Home Administrator and began my career as a pet groomer in 1979. In the 1980s, I founded my own grooming shop, The Bathtub, in Universal City. In 1994, I came to Crestway Animal Clinic. Dr. Nichols has cared for my pets since he began his veterinary career. I have one dog, Munky, one cat, Mickey, and two Amazon parrots, Oliver and Casey.
